Who We Are
Generally Speaking,
Theatre Arts Workshop is a professional teaching facility that teaches acting, singing and dance to students from ages 5 years - Adults. It also produces shows yearly, and gives performances within and outsides of it’s local community. It is a non-profit organization choosing to serve it’s community by spreading the joy of teaching and performing. Classes in Musical Theatre will consists of acting, singing and dance to help develop the 3 skills necessary to perform a well rounded show.
The Workshop teachers are highly skilled and accomplished in the field of acting, singing, dance, musical directing and directing. Our teachers have prior teaching experience teaching all ages, levels, and will demonstrate the positive qualities of dependability, patience, understanding, honesty, friendliness, personality, respect, acceptance, kindness, good communication, compassion, and a good sense of humor. These positive qualities will be shown at all times towards fellow teachers, and most importantly to all students.
The Mission: A Chance To Shine!
To bring out the full potential of each students and teach all students according o their own individual skills and abilities. In doing so, we will foster, self esteem, self acceptance, and build individual skill of acting, singing and dance. Each student will be given one or two roles per show, one of which is a leading role, so each student will have their moment to shine on the stage.
Private Lessons & Coaching: Your Success Is Our Success!
At Theatre Arts Workshop by ZB™ Productions, we love to give the tools to you, or your child in order to gain confidence in the performing arts. We Coach private lessons in Music: Voice, Piano, Guitar, Bass, Recorder, Flute, Drums, Ukulele, Songwriting and so much more in Pop, Classical, Jazz, Musical Theatre & other genres.
We Coach & Choreograph for dance in most all genres as well.
Our Team can also coach in acting, for comedy and drama, for both stage and screen. As well as help with audition preparation.
Upon Enrollment, you and your family are committing to practice and positive reinforcement of amazing habits. We don’t care if you or your child is going on to do this in the real world, it’s about giving them the confidence to stand in front of people and express oneself.

Founder’s Notes
M. Captain was the founder of Contemporary Theatre Arts Workshop along with a few others in New York. She is the heart and soul of this organization. We carry out her legacy and her life's work and mission to put as much music, theatre, and art back into the world as humanly possible. She has coached many people working on Broadway, Off-Broadway, On-Set, and Behind-the-Scenes of Hollywood Studios Today.
